Coffee bean: Ethiopia Organic Sidamo DP - Moredocafe Coop

Roasting process: Air popcorn popper until early part of second crack.

Result (no sitting and sitting): I really love this coffee and is definitely one of my favorites now. It has a great chocolate flavor and very thick and full bodied.

Rating: Great!

Yemen Mokha Maimi

Coffee bean: Yemen Mokha Haimi

Roasting process: 6 minutes in air popcorn popper a little into the 2nd crack.

Result (no sitting): Really great strong taste that really hits the full tongue with a solid dark flavor. It's a very interesting and strong coffee without bitterness, fairly unique and I love it.

Rating: Great!

Puro Scuro Blend

Coffee bean: Sweet Maria's Puro Scuro Blend

Roasting process: 7 minutes in air popcorn popper and took out during second crack.

Results (no sitting): Great! Full bodied and very tasty. One of the best I've had so that's why I wanted to put in an entry.

Rating: Great!

Results (20 hours sitting): Still fantastic.

Sulawesi Grade One Toraja - 2nd Time

Coffee bean: Sweet Maria's Sulawesi Grade One Toraja

Roasting process:8 minutes in the Chefmate Popcorn popper.

Results (no sitting): Great looking beans: dark like you get from Blue Bottle. The beans smelled great. Ground coffee smelled good and interestingly "deep" and dark. Tons of froth in the Aeropress. The coffee tasted deep and dark with a great, interesting "foresty" flavor. Used the burr grinder and got a consistent ground this time (last was with blade grinder).

Rating: Great!

Bolivia FTO SHG EP Caranavi

Coffee bean: Sweet Maria's Boliva FTO SHG EP Caranavi

Roasting process: 8 minutes in the Chefmate popcorn popper.

Result (after 3 hours of resting): Beans look great. Smell good. Ground beans smell good and strong. The coffee is the best yet! It could also be the combination of the bean, right roasting length (finally), the new burr grinder (at coarsest setting). This is awesome coffee!

Rating: Great! Fantastic!

Brasil FTO Poco Fundo

Coffee bean: Sweet Maria's Brasil FTO Poco Fundo

Roasting process: 8 minutes in Chefmate popcorn popper.

Results (20 hours resting): The beans smell strong. The ground beans smell strong and little bitter. The coffee is really strong and flavorful. This is one of the best coffees yet.

Rating: Great!
